Program Philosophy

We seek to provide an opportunity for individuals to learn skills to prepare for a career in healthcare. The goal is to emphasize the importance of the nursing assistant's role in a nurse-resident relationship when recognizing and meeting residents' needs.

Let us show you how to help residents stay independent for as long as possible. Get to know your residents, their routine, and preferences. This allows you to give care that truly reflects the importance of allowing residents control over their lives to every extent possible. The increase in the aging population is expected to lead to a greater need for Certified Nursing Assistant to help care for older residents in nursing and residential care facilities. Feel confident you're getting relevant skills to enter an in-demand career with plenty of opportunities.


Working as a Certified Nursing Assistant takes a lot of heart and dedication. As a CNA, you have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of your patients on a daily basis. You will help patients with basic tasks that they most likely cannot do without your assistance.


As a Certified Nursing Assistant, no two days are the same! In a single day, you may find yourself changing bandages, assisting at mealtimes, recording resident behaviors and health data, preparing a bed with fresh linens, and more. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, a career as a CNA is a great fit for you.


Certified Nursing Assistant work in a wide range of facilities, including long-term care facilities, hospice care, rehabilitation centers, group homes, and more. Depending on the organization you choose, you may be able to select a schedule that fits your needs, working days, nights or even weekends.
